Presence

Presence describes observed patterns of interaction in the history Gravify can currently see. It is not a judgment of importance, affection, closeness, relationship quality, or another person's feelings.

How version relational-presence-score-v0.4.1 calculates it

Gravify compares the latest 30 days with the 30 days immediately before them. In a private conversation, a new session begins after more than 1 hour of silence. Its first turn contributes 0.1 unit. The first participation from the other person adds 0.1. A first reply within 15 minutes adds 0.1, and each later quick alternation adds 0.1. One private session cannot contribute more than 0.7 units. Opposite one-sided sessions within 1 day can count as a delayed reply.

In a group, a pairwise response contributes 0.05 unit, or 0.1 when it is an adjacent reply within the same group session. A group session restarts after more than 15 minutes of group-wide silence. Group evidence is capped at 0.5 unit per person in each rolling 1 day.

A confirmed in-person encounter contributes 1 unit. Across all channels, effective contribution cannot exceed 1 unit per person in a rolling 1 day. The admitted units are divided across the selected comparison dates to form Presence.

Coverage changes what Gravify is allowed to claim. scored means enough coverage exists to calculate the displayed value. observed means Gravify saw relevant evidence but cannot claim a complete score. unscored means the available history is insufficient for a numeric claim. Zero means a covered period had no qualifying contribution; it is different from insufficient history.
