WhatsApp compatibility-module notice
The Gravify WhatsApp compatibility module is optional, local, and dormant by default. Personal works without it. It creates no provider connection or QR code until you select one transfer mode and explicitly accept this notice.
Unofficial third-party compatibility
The module is not produced, authorised, endorsed, supported, or certified by WhatsApp or Meta, and Gravify is not affiliated with them. Their terms, policies, technical changes, or enforcement can interrupt the connection, limit available history, or restrict the connected account. Accepting this notice does not create permission from WhatsApp or Meta.
Use it only with an account and device you own or are authorised to control, for lawful personal or household use. Do not use it for automatic or bulk messaging, spam, prospecting, scraping, resale, surveillance, stalking, harassment, impersonation, bypassing restrictions, or accessing someone else's account.
Relationship metadata
This mode transfers profile images, display names, phone numbers, routing/deduplication identifiers, direction, and message or conversation timestamps to your local Personal Hub. Conversation frequency is derived from timestamps. Message bodies, captions, snippets, quoted content, attachment names/content, message media, reactions, and raw provider payloads are removed before durable connector persistence.
Full history
This mode transfers the same relationship metadata plus message bodies, captions, quoted content, and enabled attachments or media. This content is not encrypted by Gravify at the application layer, so protection at rest depends on your operating-system access controls and any disk encryption you enable. Selecting this mode does not separately authorise remote or AI processing.
Changing mode or stopping
A mode change governs future ingestion and does not erase prior imports. Deactivation stops future transfer and the module process; prior imported records remain until you delete them. Neither mode sends private connector data to the Gravify online account/licence service.
Credentials, images, and completeness
Protect the local authentication directory like a private key. Never commit, upload, distribute, or email it. Gravify support will never request the complete directory. Keep profile images private and do not use them for facial recognition, sensitive-trait inference, publication, or commercial exploitation. History, attachments, avatars, and group information can be incomplete.
Sending
The module is not licensed for unattended or bulk sending. Gravify can prepare a draft, but each external send requires your explicit approval bound to the exact recipient and exact content.
Acceptance
The activation screen shows the selected mode and an unchecked acceptance control. Its affirmative wording is: “I understand the risks and enable the unofficial local compatibility module.” You can review this notice after activation and deactivate the module at any time.
